A Residential Property Management Company contacted Foundation and Crawl Space Repair to waterproof a basement for a home in Boise. Our team installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and a SuperSump pump system with a cast iron pump, liner, and an airtight lid with airtight floor drain. The Clean Pump Stand, and Water Watch alarm system were also installed. The installation of IceGuard will prevent floods from a clogged or frozen discharge line and the team also placed a LawnScape well at end of the discharge line. The basement of the house is now dry, and usable.
A homeowner reached out because their basement laundry room, set in the lowest point of the house, flooded during heavy rains. After contacting a plumber, his determination was that it was ground water seeping up from the water table after the rains. The plumber suggested a sump pump and the owners contacted Foundation and Crawl Space Repair. We promptly installed a SuperSump, WaterGuard which solves basement water problems without clogging, IceGuard to let water escape from SubPump and run on the normal route, and a WaterGuard Inspection Port that works with the WaterGuard system; all items that will keep the basement laundry room dry and serviceable.
There were six Push Piers installed on the southwest portion of the foundation where the foundation had settled. We were able to lift the foundation 2 inches which leveled out the flooring of the master bed and guest bedroom. With the installation of the Push Piers, it provides the house with more stability and prohibits any future foundation settlement.
A Boise homeowner wanted to transform his crawlspce into a moisture free and conditioned space. We laid down our Cleanspace vapor barrier as well as the SilverGlo wall insualtion.
The CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System relies on the exceptional strength of carbon fiber fabric – 10 times stronger than steel. Typically it is installed on the interior of crawlspaces to cover cracks and lightly address a settlement issue. In this case, there was no access to the crawlspace so our system specialist had our crew put it on the exterior footing. The horizonal crack was first sealed with Flexispan then covered with carbon armor to halt any further settlement.
