A client contacted us because they had problems with a significant amount of standing water in the crawlspace and stains on the vapor barrier at the front and rear of the house which indicated that there was an ongoing moisture intrusion problem. They had also noticed portions of the vapor barrier that are missing or have been displaced or pulled away from the footings. After meeting with our design technician and providing feedback on a plan tailor-made to address their foundational challenges, our team got work. They began by cleaning debris from under the crawlspace and next they installed a new vapor barrier. Following this, they installed a new SmartSump pump, IceGuard, and LawnScape.
