Amy A. from Middleton fell in love with a home built in the late 60s, it was everything she ever wanted. She started to do some remodeling to the exterior of the home and noticed stair-step cracking in the brick. She could tell that the previous owner had attempted to fill the cracks but she knew that filling the cracks or covering the cracks up would only be a band-aid fix. She stated to pay more attention to the out side of her dream home and noticed a gap between the chimney and the side of her home. Worried that there could be an issue with the foundation she reached out to us for help.
Shortly after calling Foundation Supportworks she met with Mike T. one of the teams most quailied foundation specialist. Mike was able to confirm Amys worries of a foundation issue. He let her know that the chimney was not built on the same foundation as the home and that made it even more at risk of having foundation issues. Mike was able to walk around the home and noticed some of the doors and windows sticking. Amy, like most homeowners had notice the doors sticking but she thought it was just because the home was old. Mike gave her an onsite estimation to have her issue not only repaired but to prevent it from ever coming back.
Once the job was finished we followed up with Amy and found that she was very happy with the work done on her home. She said that she felt a lot safer and could enjoy her dream home even more now!
Rose from Caldwell has lived in her home for over 25 years and the first time she found water in her crawl space she called a company to add a vapor barrier. They told her the 6mil thick liner was the same liner everyone else installed in their homes and that was true. It was only 2 years later that while in her garden Rose notice an odd odor coming from the crawlspace; she took her flashlight and peered into the space. Rose was mortified!
The black vapor barrier was pull away from the perimeter of the crawlspace exposing the damp dirt and in one corner she could see a large puddle or water. In the large puddle she found mold growing on the wood post that held up her home and she could see the wood had started to rot away.
Rose was not only disgusted by the odor she was living above but she was also scared that the wooden post would snap! She knew that if the post snaped it would cause a ton of damage leaving her home unsafe.
Rose started to look for help; she didn’t want the normal 6 mil thick liner because she has seen how useless it was. She was looking for a real fix to her issue.
She came across our website and found our CleanSpace liner. CleanSpace which is 20 mil think and would seal her home off from the ground water. She also found our SmartJacks which are used to replace beams. She instantly called us and set an appointment for later that week.

Homeowners in Wilder were facing a difficult situation. Their basement had water seeping up through cracks in the floor. The extra living space the basement provided was necessary for the family to live comfortably. In fact, they had already had a member of the family sleeping in the basement. They called wanting to find a solution to their water intrusion problem so they could continue to take advantage of having extra space in the basement.
We responded as quickly as possible and were able to send a couple of our experts to carry out a thorough inspection of the home. The photos show our experts diagnosing the homeowners' problem by looking both inside and outside of the home and interviewing the homeowners.
After going over what needed to be done to waterproof the basement, the homeowner decided to install a Waterguard system that included a window well duct and drain that direct water to a TripleSafe Pump. They also installed a Lawnscape system that directs the water being pumped back out a safe distance away from the foundation of the home.
The family in Wilder is happy with their decision to have the work done as they can now continue to use the basement of their home without the constant worry of water damage.
Homeowners in Nampa noticed stones falling off of the support post on their front porch while walking up to their front door one day. They realized that the post was sinking and the decorative stones around the base of the post were being popped off as they hit the ground. Not knowing what to do, they called Foundation SupportWorks of Idaho for our expert opinion.
Our EZ Post product was the perfect solution to this couple's problem. Our experienced production crew carefully removed the sinking post, being sure not to disturb any more of the decorative stonework. The cement under the post was also removed in order to access the ground below. The crew pushed the EZ Post pier into the exposed ground, attached a bracket to the top, and reinstalled the original post to it's original position on the front of the house. They poured new concrete to replace what they removed and also reinstalled the porch railing.
The front porch support post is now back at the level intended by the builder. With our EZ Post pier underneath, the homeowners can rest assured knowing it won't ever sink again. Once the decorative stones are reattached, no one will even know there was ever a problem!
Homeowners noticed that one side of the main level of their house was sinking, causing doors and windows to start sticking. The owners also noticed further signs of a sinking foundation. The kitchen floor was about an inch lower on one side, and there were cracks in the drywall on the opposite side of the home from the kitchen. The property owners had moved into the new house in July but did not notice the sinking of the foundation until about the end of September. They believed the previous winter's weather was a probable cause of this. They gave us a quick call and our expert went to the scene to find some resolutions for their problem.
We recommended push piers to stabilize the foundation and prevent further sinking, as well as EZ Post helical piers to support the outside deck. The homeowners chose to just install an EZ Post pier for the time being and to wait and see what happens with the foundation in the future. They know we have knowledgeable experts, experienced installers, and the best products and warranties around. They will contact us when they are ready to repair the foundation sinking that has already taken place and any additional settlement in the mean time.
A concerned homeowner found a vertical crack in his basement wall. This crack was only visible on the interior side of the household. There were no other signs of settlement, so this means that there was just a substantial amount of pressure on the basement walls from the surrounding soil. They gave us a call and we sent our expert out to evaluate the situation. Upon inspection, our expert found another vertical crack in addition to the one that was already present.
With the problem identified, our installers used FlexiSpan crack repair system to repair and secure one of the cracks. The other crack was fixed by installing CarbonArmor directly over the FlexiSpan. Now this homeowner can rest assured that these cracks will not spread and that his walls are secured.
Dan from Caldwell noticed his house settling. Already his house had sunken about 3 inches, so he called us to receive a free estimate to lift the house and prevent it from settling.
Quickly, we sent our design specialist, Jeff to his house to take a look at it. After inspecting the house, Jeff knew just how to fix the settling house. He proposed we install Smart Jacks and PowerBraces to lift the house. This solution has worked wonderfully on many other houses and would work great on Dan's house, too.
Unfortunately, Dan decided not to follow-through with our suggestion. However, without repairing this issue, it will only grow more expensive and difficult to repair.
Wood Called because she felt like when she looked at her home it seemed to be tilted and that her floors were sloping down, noticing that her floors weren't level. In her basement, her walls were cracking and were pulling away from the foundation.
We did PowerBrace wall support to help the walls in place from leaning and cracking. We also installed a SmartJacks to help support the main level of her home.
The floor levels are level again and no more cracking when she walks! Woods was pleased with the work that was done.
Customers in Melba had called into us concerned becuase they had water in their basment. They thought it was a broken pipe but, upon further investigation they discovered that there was no pipe leak. We quickly sent our specialist out to the home so we could find out what was happening. Water seemed to be forcing its way in through the footing because of the high water table around their home. Our solution was to install DryTrak and a SuperSump. These products would give our customers peace of mind that any water that may come in would be drained out through our system.

There are a few things you can use in your crawlspace to help with standing water. The most popular products we have to offer and what our clients like to have us install are:
Smartpipe® is a composite pipeline system that eliminates the need for corrosion control and excessive pigging. Because it can be used inside an existing pipeline, it is perfect for situations where congestion of existing pipelines is an issue.
The SmartSump™ has a unique sump pump cover design, so water from a plumbing leak fills an alarm pocket on the lid first, sounding a WaterWatch® alarm that will let you know there is a plumbing leak. From there, the water flows down a special airtight floor drain that will let the water down, but damp air cannot come up into your crawl space. The WaterWatch® sump pump alarm also alerts you to pump failure for any reason, including power outages.
The SmartSump™ liner lid also has a built-in knockout to accept a dehumidifier hose. The pictured SaniDry™ CX, a crawl space dehumidifier and air filtration system, works in perfect unity with the CleanSpace® system and the SmartSump™ crawl space sump pump system.
The corner of this customer's house was settling. We attempted to install PushPiers, But realize the structure was too light. So we installed HelicalPiers.
A helical pier is a steel shaft with round helixplates that provides a foundation support for various types of structures. ... Ram Jack deep-driven steel helical piers are 2-3/8″ or 2-7/8″ diameter sectional pipe piles. They are hydraulically rotated into the ground to bear on rock or a solid soil stratum.
The customer called us because they had concerns about some cracks in the foundation which was leading a slight amount of water into their crawlspace. We installed carbonarmor and nexuspro.
The CarbonArmor system permanently stabilizes your home’s foundation walls. CarbonArmor uses fiber-reinforced polymers (FRPs) which are 10-times stronger than steel, yet flexible enough to contour tightly against your basement wall. The ArmorLock brackets bind and secure the CarbonArmor straps to your floor joists making the CarbonArmor solution fast, non-invasive and ideal for quickly stabilizing bowing and leaning walls.
NexusPro® is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry.
The homeowner called in with concerns about standing water in their crawlspace and wanted to know if there were any major concerns. Water in the crawl can lead to many problems, some of them being mold, fungi, allergens, settlement/sinking, increased heating/cooling bills, smelly damp carpets, and sticking or swollen doors and windows.
Our solution to water in the crawlspace is our SmartPipe and TripleSafe sump system! Having a good system in place ensures water runs through and out instead of pools and puddles under your home. This helps protect the structure and reduces mold, rot, and settlement risks.
A couple had called us because they had quite a few concerns with their house. They have sagging floors and a stress crack on an interior wall where the sagging begins! A specialist went out the house so we ould see what products of ours would address the issue, they were informed and educated on how our SmartJacks, supplemental beam and joist assist bracket would resolve the issues they were facing!

They gave us a call and we got then on the schedule to have one of our specialist go out and meet with them. Once our specialist got there he went into the crawlspace to look at the cracks. Once he was done with that he wrote up a proposal of what product would work the best in the long run, he then sat down with the homeowners to go over the proposal and made sure they did not have any questions. We then sent our foreman out to install our CarbonArmor on the crack to help permanently seal them.
Have you found any water in your basement, but don't know where it's coming from? A customer of ours had this issue and called us to come out and take a look. We were more than happy to get them on the schedule with one of our System Design Specialists. When the System Design Specialist got out there, he spoke with the homeowners who told him the previous homeowners had a fireplace taken out and they think that's where the water has been getting in. After thoroughly checking the basement, the System Design Specialist wrote up a proposal for the homeowners detailing the products he recommended, the price, and how the products would be installed. After gaining the approval of the homeowners, our foreman went out to install WaterGuard to redirect any water in the basement, our SuperSump to collect and pump the water out of the house, and IceGuard for the water the SuperSump pumps out.
Have you noticed your walls are starting to bow? A recent customer of ours in Wilder had called us with some concerns of their basement cinder block wall was starting to bow. He wasn't sure if they should get someone out to look at it right then or if they could wait. They decided to do some research, they then came across our website. They started to look through our website and realized it would be best to get someone to come out and look at it. They then called us with their concerns and we got them on the schedule as fast as we could due to the bowing causing cracks that could lead to water entering the basement. They then went into the basement to check out the wall. Once Tim got down there he started to take pictures as well as take measurements. Once he was done with that he started to go over the best product to help the homeowners.
The PowerBrace System permanently stabilizes foundation walls. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-fit to your basement height and tightly secured against the wall with brackets that are anchored to the basement floor below and first-floor framing above. This patented design can be tightened over time, permanently eliminating any further inward movement— and potentially reversing the effects of wall failure— without invasive drilling or digging.
