Have you noticed any cracks in your basement? We had a set of customers call us because they had just moved into the home they just purchased, well they noticed a few cracks in the basement. Luckily we were able to get the customers scheduled with one of our specialists to see if water was coming in through the cracks, and they wanted to repair them so they wouldn't worsen over time! 

Eric and Kim own an old farm house in the small town of Grant, right outside Idaho Falls. In the back yard they have a very large potato cellar. At first they used the cellar as storage but Kim wanted to use the large space for much more.

She wanted to turn it into an art studio/play room for her kids.  She knew it would take a lot more then just cleaning up the space and laying down carpet. She wanted it done right, she knew she would be living in this house for a very long time and he just wanted to take advantage of all the space she could. She talked with Eric and they started to look for a company that specialized in finishing basements.  One thing they had to be sure of was that they needed to make sure the space was waterproofed, being surrounding on almost all sides by soil the ground water could become their biggest issue.That’s when they called Foundation Support Works.
