Foundation Repair Photo Album: Failing Retaining Wall Corrected
Often, we install our GeoLock Wall Anchors in homes that have bowing basement walls. In this case, the bowing wall happened to be a retaining wall located outside of the home. A galvanized steel wall plate was used on the bowing side of the wall, while the earth anchor was buried in solid soil several feet away. The long steel rods of the earth anchor will secure this retaining wall for the foreseeable future.

Galvanized Wall Plate
The surface area of this wall plate will bear the weight of the leaning wall once the bolts of the anchor have been tightened, securing the system.
