Lodge Fireplace
You can see why the owners of this lodge wanted to prevent any damage to this beautiful mantelpiece

Separation
You can see the gap between the chimney and the lodge itself from this angle

Tilting Chimney
It doesn't take a foundation expert to see that this chimney has settled over time as the soil under the stone became unstable

Hydraulic push piers
This photo shows three piers along the outer edge of the chimney, there are also two piers on either of the short sides of the chimney

Peace of mind
After straightening the chimney, our team removed the hydraulic system that drove the piers into the ground. This is a low-profile solution that will provide stability for the foreseeable future.

Closing the gap
Compare this photo to the original from this angle. There is no longer a gap present & the inner, bright red brickwork that had shifted outside is not visible.
