Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Outdated pump system upgraded in Meridian, ID.
A Meridian, ID homeowner discovered that their crawlspace had standing water. Believe it or not there was a pump system already installed in the home but it was in very bad condition. The existing sump pump was dirty, barely functioning and outdated. Our Design Specialists drew up a waterproofing system which included Smartpipe and a brand new SmartSump Pump. SmartPipe is installed around the edge of the crawlspace to capture any standing water that intruded the space. A discharge line is is led away from the pump and out of the home through what is called an Ice Guard. Finally the discharge line is carefully run through a concrete walkway and out to the yard. The updated system is going to give the homeowner the peace of mind in knowing standing water will stay out of their crawlspace.
