Crawl Space Waterproofing in De Smet, Idaho

Challenge

The crawl space of this home had water damage along the foundation walls and a crack that was allowing water to seep in. This left the floor of the crawl space damp and mugy feeling. There are water spots along the walls that can lead to further concerns if not addressed. Not stopping the water from entering the home can cause for any cracks to worsen over time. The water will continue to damage the walls and possibly cause mold and even cause concners with the integrity of the foundation. This homeowner noticed that she had water concerns in the crawl space, but was not aware of how bad the situation was. 

They gave us a call to to come out and provide a free quote for those repairs and we turned this crawl space into a dry, clean, usuable area once again. 

Solution

After receiving our quote for those repairs, now came the time to make those corrections so that they no longer have water concerns. They can peacefully sleep at night knowing their home is going to provide many more years of many more memories. 

First, we installed our SmartSump pump, that collects any of the intruding water. Along with the TripleSafe pump that is used as a backup pump. We highly recommend adding one of these in as there can always be a power outage, and this pump will be able to ease away the thought that now your crawl space is flooding. 

Secondly, we installed our SmartPipe drainage system. This product channels any of the water into the SmartSump, which then directs the water outside of the home. This is installed specificially so that it does not clog and there is no water any other organic material will enter into the drainage system.

Lastly, we finished the project with installing our Carbon Armor crack repair. This is applied to the inside of the crawl space to seal any cracks that are allowing the water to seap through. This product is known to be 10 times stronger than steel and it is not only used to seal, it also helps avoid any further movement within the home.
