Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Insulation Updates in Pocatello, Idaho
The owner of a 70-year-old home in Eastern Idaho called us in regards to a basement with foundation walls that had always leaked. We installed a drainage trench equipped with a sump pump to permanently take care of the water issues. Our client also decided to install SilverGlo radiant barrier insulation on the basement walls to create a cleaner, drier and warmer space. While fiberglass insulation allows for mold growth, SilverGlo is made with waterproof materials & acts as a vapor barrier on foundation walls. The graphite foil acts as a heat barrier & therefore lowers utility costs.
