Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Smart Pipe and Smart Sump installation in Star, ID

A homeowner in Star was interested in an interior drainage system that would ensure the collection of any water that entered their crawlspace. Our design expert recomended a smart drain and smart sump system that would gather any moisture and expel it through a discharge line. That discharge line would direct the water to a lawnscape and not allow it to re-enter the property.

Smart Drain

The drain is situated against the interior of the foundation wall to collect water.

The smart sump is located at the low point of the crawlspace to maximize

This pump mechanism gathers the water that has run through the drain system and diverts it out through a discharge line.

Our technician carefully runs the discharge line to the area of the foundation where the water will run to the lawnscape outlet.

Ice Guard

The Ice Guard protects the water that is pumped away from the home from freezing.

Lawnscape outlet

The lawnscape outlet is installed far away from the home to allow it to seep into the ground and not enter back into the crawlspace/basement.
