Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: FlexiSpan Installation in Boise Basement
This homeowner had water seeping into the basement through the wall. When they pulled off the drywall to see what was going on, they found the water had already caused a stud in the wall to begin rotting.
We were able to tear out the rotted stud, seal the crack, install a second layer of waterproofing, and dig a small drywell for any water that may enter in the future. With these solutions installed by our professionals, the homeowner knows they will not have to worry about water intrusion again.
Rotted Stud
Water intrusion behind the drywall has led to a rotted stud.
Sealing the Crack
The rotted wood is removed and the crack is permanently sealed.
Second Layer of Protection
A second layer of sealant is applied to flush out the crack and ensure a waterproof seal. A dry well is also dug as a back up system.
Completed Project
The crack is now sealed and the dry well has been covered. Drywall can now be reinstalled without ever having to worry about water intrusion and wood rot again.
