Challenge
This homeowner had water seeping into the basement through the wall and puddling onto the floor. When they pulled off the drywall to see what was going on, they found the water had already caused a stud in the wall to begin rotting. Wanting to fix the problem before things got worse, the homewoner called Foundation Supportworks of Idaho. An appointment was set up and our expert came out to investigate the situation.
Solution
After discussing what it would take to fix the problem and reviewing the free estimate with our expert, the homeowner decided to repair the leak. We were able to tear out the rotted stud, seal the crack, install a second layer of waterproofing, and dig a small drywell for any water that may enter in the future. With these solutions installed by our professionals, the homewoner knows they will not have to worry about water intrustion again.
