Photo Album: Settling Home Stabilized in Rexburg, ID
Homeowners in Rexburg noticed their 1950s house was settling. They had uneven floors, cracks in their drywall, their front door had gaps when shut, and a large stair step crack in their bricks outside. The owners loved the charm of their older home, but didn't love the problems settlement was causing. Helical piers were installed under the foundation permanently stabilizing the home. The owners were happy they were able to repair their foundation, and fall back in love with their home.
Helical Pier
This helical pier was just pushed into the ground. The connections at the top will be removed and the foundation and pier buried.
Sinking Foundation
This entire side of the home required helical piers to be installed. All these piers are now ready to be buried, and hidden from site.
