Challenge
Commercial structure has foundation in need of repair and additional support.
Solution
Helical pier system is chosen to stabilize and lift the foundation. Helical piers are placed around the perimeter of building to support structure while crew excavated and poured concrete pits as part of project. Helical tiebacks are installed to hold retaining walls while concrete is poured. An assembly of 36 piers and tiebacks complete the install. The system will stabilize and support the railroad cars and weigh station.
