Water Damaged Crawlspace Solved in Boise, ID
Challenge
Homeowners called in with concerns about moisture in their crawl space. They not only noticed that their crawlspace was accumulating water on the walls but standing water would occasionally show up in the form of puddles. Pooling of water in the crawlspace can be the result from rainwater runoff as well as an unusually high water table. Water damage was also visible, meaning there was once more water than was currently visible to the homeowners and this worried them. To prevent further damage and protect their home, the residents contacted us for help. We sent over our system design expert to inspect the property to see what could be done to resolve their issue.
Solution
We installed 1459 square feet of CleanSpace around the perimeter of the crawl space. With this we also installed a SaniDry Sedona, to keep humidity at a low level, and a SmartSump, to pump any water that gets into the crawl space away. While working, we also cleared away old insulation and debri that was damamged from the standing water, and replaced it with 751 square feet of SilverGlo. SilverGlo is a new and improved type of insulation. With all these products working together, these homeowners' can remain worry free of any further potential water damage.
