Basement Water Problems With a Narrow Work Space Resolved in Rupert, ID.
Challenge
A homeowner has been having water enter her basement whenever it rains hard, or they irrigate their lawn for too long. She had someone come out a few years ago and install a waterproof membrane to prevent this from happening, but that only worked for a short time. This water intrusion problem has now be going on for such an extended amount of time that the homeowner was starting to see some mold develop in the basement. To make matters worse, some contractors wouldn't even work on this project due to the narrow space between the home and the neighbor's fence. However, once she gave us a quick call, we sent out our determined expert to assist in this situation.
Solution
We removed the previous membrane that was installed to the exterior of the foundation, and then installed our waterproofing system on the interior side of the home. Our waterproofing system that was installed consisted of WaterGuard, a sump pump, and a SmartPipe discharge line to direct water to a safe distance outside of the house. While other contractors were unable to waterproof her home due to space limitations, we were able to get the job done for her. This homeonwer won't have to worry about mold growing back, or any further water collecting in her basement.
