The owner noticed major interior and exterior cracking around his property, a clear indication of foundation settlement. It had gotten so severe that a bedroom wall was not even touching the ceiling. We utilized our galvanized push pier technology to counteract the settlement using the Earths hard bedrock. Our team was able to achieve an outstanding 6" of lift! If your home's basement has experienced flooding problems, damp walls, and flooring, or has a constant smell of mold, odds are that you need basement waterproofing services. We have the skills and expertise to fix any wet basement, and we use our patented basement waterproofing system to fix any and all water problems once and for all. One of the more popular repair methods we have used in many other Pittsburgh homes is the installation of an interior French drainage system using our WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain. Our French drainage system works by pumping out any water that enters your basement away using a sump pump before it can ever cause any damage.

A Pocatello homeowner gave us a call because she was worried about the water in her basement. Water in the basement is never a good thing and can lead to structural and health problems down the line. We are in the business of keeping homes structurally sound, healthy, and dry-- so this homeowner called the right folks!
One of our System Design Specialists went to the property to provide the homeowner with a free inspection and quote. He discussed how the water was getting in to the basement and what we could do to fix it.
In this situation, our basement waterproofing products get the job done! Our TripleSafe Sump Pump paired with a WaterGuard Interior Basement Drainage System keep water out of the basement! The TripleSafe Sump Pump is comprised of three pumps and a back up battery for ultimate protection! WaterGuard is installed beneath the basement floor to catch water seepage from the wall/floor joint, and is then discharged through the sump pump. IceGuard is added to the exterior drainage system in cold weather areas like Idaho to ensure water can always exit from discharge line, even when its below freezing out.

A homeowner in Elk River, Idaho, contacted Foundation & Crawl Space Repair with growing concerns about his home’s foundation. He had noticed that the floors were sagging, uneven, and squeaky—clear signs that something was wrong beneath the surface. Upon inspection, it became evident that the crawl space support system consisted of deteriorating stacks of wood, offering little to no real structural support. If left unaddressed, the problem would have continued to worsen—potentially leading to more extensive and costly repairs down the road.
Fortunately, the homeowner took action just in time by calling the local foundation experts.
One of our experienced specialists conducted a free, no-obligation inspection. After thoroughly evaluating the crawl space and floor structure, he explained the root cause of the issues, why they were occurring, and how we could fix them. With a clear plan in place, our crew got to work.
To permanently stabilize the floor system, we installed our SmartJack® Support System. This solution involves strategically placing galvanized steel piers and supplemental beams beneath the affected areas. Not only did this system immediately stop further settlement, but it also helped lift the sagging floors back toward their original level. Unlike temporary fixes, SmartJack® directly addresses the underlying issue—unstable soils beneath the home—offering a durable and long-term foundation repair solution.
Thanks to the work of Foundation & Crawl Space Repair of Idaho, this home is now stable, secure, and safe for years to come. Another successful project and another satisfied customer in Elk River!

Jeremy in Pocatello owns a house that is about 100 years old with an addition added to the house later. The foundation of the main portion had settled more than the addition, causing the foundation to crack. Cracking foundations can create many problems for properties--the floors can sag, water can leak into the crawlspace through the cracks, and cracks can even develop on the inside of the house in the bricks and drywall.
Jeremy was smart and called us for his free estimate. Quickly, we sent our design specialist, Ryan, to his home to assess the situation and provide a potential solution. Ryan suggested we install CarbonArmor to repair the cracks and prevent them from growing any further.
Unfortunately, Jeremy decided not to accept our suggestion to pursue other options. However, if we had installed our carbon Armor, it would have repaired his foundation concerns and left him with peace of mind.

Eric and Kim own an old farm house in the small town of Grant, right outside Idaho Falls. In the back yard they have a very large potato cellar. At first they used the cellar as storage but Kim wanted to use the large space for much more.
She wanted to turn it into an art studio/play room for her kids. She knew it would take a lot more then just cleaning up the space and laying down carpet. She wanted it done right, she knew she would be living in this house for a very long time and he just wanted to take advantage of all the space she could. She talked with Eric and they started to look for a company that specialized in finishing basements.
